Kenric Taylor
Kenric Taylor graduated from Williams College with degrees in music and Japanese, where he studied voice with Elizabeth Suderburg and Keith Kibler, and composition and theory with Robert Suderburg, Karl Korte and David Kechley. Since college, he has pursued multiple interests in web technology, music composition and vocal performance. Kenric has run a website on composer Gustav Holst since 1996, has recently worked with a team to write music to the documentary October Country (2009), and embarked on a semi-professional singing career, performing with the San Francisco Opera Chorus in 2007 and as a hired baritone in solo and choral settings in San Francisco and Los Angeles. After briefly studying film composition in Los Angeles, Kenric spent time travelling the US and Canada, in search of inspiration and purpose, eventually landing in the Bay Area. Kenric joined IOCSF in the fall of 2004 and has conducted the IOCSF on two occasions. He loves dogs, the rain, and long walks on the beach.
